In 13 stappen een Social Media campagne

Frankwatching. Ken je dat? Ja? Goed zo! Nee?

Kijk, leer, ontdek, reproduceer. Doet er in ieder geval uwe voordeel mee!

Foursquare grew 3400% in 2010!

I ain't using it, but I can't deny it. It's a part of social media and a very popular one! The infographic beneath shows us that Foursquare grew 3400% in 2010! Even the Facebook 'check-in' functionality has not had any influence in those amazing numbers.

As you can see below, Foursquare is mainly used in the USA, Europe and a large part of Asia. Though, USA has the largest number of Foursquare users, which is made clear by looking at the numbers of the different categories as shown below. Enjoy!

If Facebook were a country, it would be the 3rd largest in the world!

Isn't that bizar? Just look at this:

This picture compares the number of Facebook accounts to the population numbers of the largest country's in the world. It's a picture from early 2010, as Facebook now almost has 600 milion users! That you can see at the second picture.

Intimacy of today's communication

Really nice, all those flashy, fast, interesting, new and social media, but is there anything wrong with communicating face-to-face? No there isn't, but 'we' aren't used to that anymore. By using (and getting used to) computers, cell phones, tablets and other ways of electronic communication, we have become a little afraid to communicate face-to-face. Here's a fun illustration about the 10 levels of intimacy when it comes to communication nowadays. Level 10 = large intimacy, level 1 = (very) little intimacy. Enjoy!
